  1. Generally, Censorship is the legal suppression of words, images and ideas that could be seen are considered as offensive by other people.
  2. Censorship is often times associated with the government, but we see censorship everywhere. Movies, radio, Tv shows.
  3. Radio Stations cannot just play whatever they want, movies need to get ratings, so children are protected, and viewers know the type of content to expect in a movie. These are all various types of censoring and censorship.
  4. The idea of censoring information is not to take anything away from it but to make sure the right viewers are looking at it. We do not want children watching X-rated movies after an Episode of dragon tales on TV. That is why we need censorship.
